When we announced this, United Stated based Traceurs were pumped and since then countless people have taken advantage of this and saved big. But the questioned for some has remained: what about international Traceurs? Without wanting to exclude anyone we have recently made the free international shipping option available for the entire worldwide Parkour community.

No matter where you are in the world you can now get your Parkour clothing order from Take Flight shipped to you for absolutely FREE. Orders have to be $150 or greater and you qualify. It’s super simple. Here is how it works:

#3. A free shipping option will appear that you can select.
#4. Check out and we’ll handle the rest!

Just yesterday we shipped a $100 order to Australia. The shipping was an additional $30! That’s a 30% add on with no markup from us which is pretty expensive if you ask us :\ Well, regardless of how expensive the shipping gets you have nothing to worry about because now we’re covering that charge!

If you want Take Flight clothing and you live in another country now is your chance! Whether you have to make a slightly bigger order than planned, or pool orders between you and your friends to reach the minimum purchase total to qualify, this new free international shipping option presents a fantastic savings that you don’t want to miss out on if you can help it. We are extremely excited to announce that our international shipping rates have officially been reduced! Actually, they have not only been reduced, they have been more than cut in half! This is something we have been working towards for months and we so happy to finally be able to offer these lower shipping rates to international Traceurs.

With our new international shipping rates now in effect Traceurs can buy Parkour clothing regardless of their global location without having to pay steep shipping costs. In fact, these changes (done in partnership with the United States Postal Service) are so good that on an order placed from England for two medium PK t-shirts, the shipping cost is about the same as that same order placed from California! The trick is that we actually loose money on the shipping costs on most international orders. Meaning: what you, as a non-U.S. based customer, will pay for shipping when you checkout with your order is actually less than what we’ll pay for the direct shipping cost to send it to you.

Ultimately, we believe and stand behind this change even with the added effort and cost on our end. We received countless emails from Traceurs in England and around the world regarding the standard USPS shipping rates, and we made it a point to work with them to get the rates reduced for the benefit of the international Parkour community.

*The one thing that the shipping cost does not cover is tax. If your home government decided to put a VAT (value added tax) on your import, this will not be covered.

Some people would say there are not enough girls doing Parkour to warrant producing women’s Parkour clothing. Although from the business perspective this may be true, at Take Flight we simply do not agree with the principles behind this stance. In the words of David Belle, “The goal of Parkour is not to make money or create a business”. Parkour is about the discipline and how it effects and changes people. For that reason we’ve spent a lot of time and money to bring forth the world’s first custom Parkour pants designed specifically for women.

Our Women’s Original Parkour Pants are the first custom Parkour pants ever made for women. Without a precedent for how female Parkour pants should be designed, we took extra time and care in designing and developing these with female Traceurs as our focus. What: Get sponsored by Take Flight and become a member of the Take Flight Street Team.

Who: Becoming a sponsored member of the Take Flight Street Team is for anyone interested in representing our products and promoting our vision of hope, inspiration, and movement as embodied in our slogan Jump, Fly, Dream. As a Parkour based clothing company we intend to focus our sponsorships around Traceurs and Parkour teams. However, we realize that our products, vision, mission, and slogan, extend far beyond only the discipline of Parkour. For this reason we are more than open to adding athletes of other discipline to our sponsored team. And if you simply don’t practice a sport but are interested in being sponsored by us we welcome you to apply as well!

When: The current street team application is for the 2009 physical year. In 2010 we will extend new sponsorship offers to then current members, and release a new sponsorship application for that year. Applications will be accepted year round.
