Run Free – Tee and Pants
by Take Flight on Apr.23, 2013, under New Releases, Products
Our two newest products have been released, and we think they are some of our best ever. Why? Because of the message. There is a lot of jargon in the Parkour world and some bickering too that takes place between Parkour and Freerunning, Traceurs and Freerunners. In our quest for unity we’ve cut to the center of it all with another rallying cry. Run Free.
These items are on discounted pre-sale until Friday! If you love the design then pick it up before then when the price jumps 25%.

Our newest creation as well. Get these on sale for $29 before Friday when the price will jump to $35!
Fan Wednesday Update!
by Take Flight on Apr.17, 2013, under Articles, For Our Fans
Today marks the second week of our Fan Wednesday – a day that we dedicate entirely to you guys, or fans and followers on Facebook! We learned some things about last week and we have some amendments. Here they are:
#1. Post your Parkour photo or video on our Facebook wall! Make sure to specify it’s for Fan day and we’ll repost it with a shout out to you!
#2. The only requirements to get reposted are:
- For photos, there are no requirements :-) BUT we encourage you to either be wearing Take Flight or to have Take Flight edited into the photo somehow. If you are not wearing Take Flight and if Take Flight is also not edited into the photo then we reserve the right to help you out and we’ll edit it in for you :-)
- For videos, we encourage you to be wearing Take Flight in them. If you are not wearing Take Flight then we ask you to put the Take Flight website link in the video description and mention something about us. The proper link that needs to be there is http://www.takeflightapparel.com with the “http://” that way it is actually a link.
#4. We reserve the right to NOT repost your content. If it’s not “Parkour” or “Take Flight” focused then we probably won’t. Sorry, after all, that’s kind of the point :\ And most likely we also will not make more than one repost per person. There are just too many of you!
#5. We are going to end every Fan Wednesday with a giveaway on our page so stay tuned for that!
With all that said, welcome to our second Fan Wednesday! It’s the 2nd in many to come, so if you don’t have a photo or video for us to share today then send us something next week :-)
The Next Level – Custom Boxes
by Take Flight on Apr.04, 2013, under Articles, Products
One thing you should know about Take Flight: we are leading the way in professionalism in the Parkour world. In addition to amazing customer service, a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee, and a great product that ships and arrives fast, we’ve recently redesigned our packaging to help take all that to next level. Two words: Custom Boxes.
From now on a large percentage of orders will be shipped in our “made for Take Flight” custom packaging. Here is a picture of what those boxes look like.

It depends on what you order, but from now on there is a very good chance that your Parkour clothing arrives at your doorstep looking like this.
Please note that our claim in ‘leading professionalism in the Parkour world’ is not to say that there aren’t other organization out there that are doing a great job. In fact, in general, we’ve found that most PK organizations do a fantastic job at being professional! What we’re saying is that we are setting an example for how a “pure to Parkour” organization, can also be a successful entity that brings Parkour into a context that makes it acceptable by the business world. We’ve been doing it for more than four years and we keep leading the way and finding new ways to innovate.
How does that help the Parkour world, you ask? It’s simple. It provides a sophisticated business/commercial entity which helps legitimize the movement. On a community level this may not seem important, but on the grander scale it’s vital. And maybe not today, but definitely at the latest in the next few years you will see the worldwide political and cultural influence that Take Flight has had on Parkour that will have helped the entire Parkour world and Traceurs everywhere. Our custom boxes are one more step in that direction. A small step for sure, but another step none the less. And isn’t that what Parkour is all about? Continual improvement? We think so :-)
All larger explanation aside, if nothing else and if we may say so ourselves, these boxes look pretty darn cool.
Time for the battle cry: Take Flight.
April Fools. The True Logo Is Back!
by Take Flight on Apr.02, 2013, under Articles, For Our Fans
We had our fun and we’re here to set the record straight. The logo change we announced yesterday? It was an April Fools joke. The logo has NOT been changed. We’re staying true to what we have and how far it has brought us.
That being said, one thing that was not a joke was the reference to the Take Flight shoes. Those are in the last stages of development and we hope to have them out this year.
In Parkour we always advance. The Flight Man faces that direction as a testament to that vision. We hope the change made you smile, because we don’t see that changing any time soon.
How To Wash Your Take Flight Clothing
by Take Flight on Feb.13, 2013, under Adam Dunlap, Articles, For Our Fans
This was me for the first 25 years of my life:
My clothing was perfect when I bought it, and then I washed and dried it and it changed colors and shrunk! How do I keep this from happening?!
I wouldn’t be surprised if you’ve asked yourself this too. Now that I’m a big part of Take Flight I thought it would be good to share my solution to these problems. Because, yes, because of countless washing and drying tests I’ve performed with Take Flight clothing, I’ve found a solution.
Here are the two practices I recommend for washing your Take Flight gear in order to make sure it stays as close to “new condition” for as long as possible. They really important and best of all really simple too.

Two New Flight Man Beanies!
by Take Flight on Jan.24, 2013, under New Releases, Products
We’ve just released two new version of the Flight Man Beanie!!! Check them out below.
In typical fashion, new products are on sale. So you can get either of these Parkour beanies for only $9.95. And if we may say so, the Red beanie turned out so much better than we envisioned. It is H. O. T. But you can’t go wrong with either :-)

Turning the TF Facebook page over to…..
by Take Flight on Jan.17, 2013, under For Our Fans
We have a new initiative to announce and we think you are going to love it.
For 4 years now the Take Flight Facebook page has been admined solely by TF management. We’ve decided to take a new innovative approach, and slowly but surly we’re turning the page over to the TF athletes you all know and love
Starting… well, yesterday, the first athlete post came in from Stephen Laster. In the future you’re going to see more posts directly from the Take Flight team of Traceurs. The first four new admins are:
Do you want to see more and hear directly from guys like maybe… Toby Segar? Nikolay Stasolik? Luis Alkmim? Will Sutton? If you do then reach out to them and let them know!
We’re pleased to make this move, and in the trust and confidence we have in the TF team we think this is going to bring in a new level of personality, vision, and dynamism to the Take Flight Facebook page. Thank you for being a part of it and helping us spread unity, community, and Parkour around the world to people everywhere.
Please leave us a comment at the end of this blog post! We read every one and we value your feedback. Thank you!
