Take Flight

I don’t have a lot of pet-peeves in this world. In fact I only have one. But I’m going to tell you about it because it’s humors enough and applicable enough to post about it here on the Take Flight blog.

A sticker that goes on and in every order Take Flight ships. The domain is on it, so this must be what is causing the confusion.

My pet peeve is people calling Take Flight by the name “Take Flight Apparel.” The name of the organization is simply Take Flight, however, this name addition/confusion seems prevalent and it has became a huge pet peeve of mine. In fact it has become the only pet peeve of mine as I mentioned above. The reason I find this name thing so bothersome is because I can’t for the life of me figure out why people call the organization by the other name. In fact there are only two places where Take Flight has ever used the term “Take Fight Apparel.”

1. The domain which is www.TakeFlightApparel.com.
2. In the past the organization used “Take Flight Apparel” in the context of “apparel from Take Flight” or “Take Flight apparel.” But this has been stricken from the lingo for some time due to this vary reoccurring misnaming issue.
