Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Whether you live in the United States where this holiday originated, or on another side of the world entirely and have never heard of Thanksgiving, the theme is the same; Thanksgiving is a day of celebration to give thanks for all we have and have been given. For us this includes, in part, thanking you our fans, customers, and fellow Traceurs for your support and love of Parkour that has brought us into existence. We also thank David for his influence and presence for founding Parkour and bringing it to the world as we see it today.

On another note, in the U.S. the day after Thanksgiving is referred to as Black Friday. Black Friday is a day when people start the Holiday shopping season, and it is filled with huge sales at virtually every store. Not to be left out, we are committed to doing the same! We are very pleased to announce one of our newest partnerships with Kuwait based PK Jaguars! Here is a little more about the team:

PK Jaguars is a 13 member Parkour team from Kuwaiti that was founded in April 2006. Their primary goal is to spread Parkour’s way of life to Middle East any way possible and make the youth and community realize how important Parkour and movement is to our daily lives. Some of their accomplishments include being the first Parkour team in Kuwiat, joining the World Parkour day One Giant Leap put on by Parkour Generations, and making a trip to Bahrain to train with Bahrain Parkour to share their experience and knowledge about Parkour. PK Jaguars is currently performing in shows around Kuwait in order to spread Parkour throughout the country.

We are already working with PK Jaguars to make team uniforms for them. This is the type of connection we like to have with our partners, and we look forward to building this relationship to benefit PK Jaguars and Parkour in Kuwait.

Latvian born Parkour athlete Pavel Pasha Petkuns (a.k.a. Pasha) is our newest Take Flight Athlete and we couldn’t be more pleased then to have him be a part of our team. A little about Thomas:

Always athletic and energetic, Thomas Dolan had rejected most organized sports, finding that the strict rules and schedules limited his freedom and his abilities. After practicing rock climbing and cross-country running for a year, Thomas’ brother introduced him to the discipline of Parkour, and Thomas knew he had finally found something that was perfect for him. He began training with the local New York community, and was soon completely immersed in the discipline.

Although a native to New York City and a well-known traceur in the New York community, Thomas is currently getting his education at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA. Pursuing a career in Film and Media, Thomas hopes he can combine the two things he loves most- Parkour and video production- to entertain, inspire, and educate future generations of traceurs and all lovers of movement.
