But we never were able to produce something I was happy with. We finally got it right about two weeks ago so here they are!”

We have a new initiative that we’re opening to Traceurs worldwide. We want to bring your Parkour videos to our YouTube channel. And unlike any Parkour organization before us, we’ll pay you for it.

Take Flight Video Initiative Overview

The Take Flight Video Initiative is an initiative designed to bring Traceur videos from around the world to the Take Flight YouTube Channel, while providing a new way for Traceurs worldwide to be financially compensated for their work training and making videos.

Some channels have uploaded community videos to their channel in the past, and some are still doing this! But authorization has always been borderline at best, and no channels in the Parkour world have ever paid Traceurs for their videos. We want to set it right, and set the standard. Your videos are worth something! So in addition to bringing more publicity to your and your work, we’re also willing to compensate you financially for it

Reasons to Have Your Videos on Our Channel

1. Exposure. As of the writing of this blog we have 11,000+ YouTube subscribers, 47,000+ Facebook fans. That exposure becomes yours when we publish your name and your videos on our channel and page.
2. Make some cash. You put in a lot of work for your videos, and you probably even spend money to make them! Equipment, time, and travel. Now you can get some back.
3. Why not? After all, videos and footage don’t have to be new! If you have a video that’s a year old (or two or even three years old) making money from it is now as simple as sending us an email. And with all the great footage you have over the past few years, now you can sit down and make a new edit, and in a few hours put a few hundred dollars in your pocket.

Think of it as a subsidy. Think of it as a job. Think of it as a bonus. Either way, we put money in your pocket for what you are already doing.

Licensing Price

Current compensation per video ranges between $100 and $350. That price varies based on video quality, and if the video isn’t uploaded to other channels then it also merits a higher value. In most cases, videos will be in the $100-$200 range unless you are well known Traceur.

How It Works: 3 Steps

We’ve designed our entire initiative to be extremely simple. Here is how it works:

1. Send a video link to us at media@takeflightapparel.com with the email title “Take Flight Video Initiative.” If it’s a new video then upload it to YouTube on private and send us a link. The video does NOT have to feature Take Flight.
2. We will check it out, and if we think it’s a good match for out channel, we will send you a financial total.
3. If you accept, then we have software that we’ll use to transfer video files, and our financial team will coordinate payment to you via check, bank transfer, or other method.
