by Take Flight on Jul.26, 2011, under New Releases, News
The 2011 Take Flight Parkour Clothing Launch is just days away!
Designed and produced specifically for Traceurs worldwide, the 2011 launch is as true as anything we’ve ever made and continue our quest for Parkour purity. By mixing urban concepts, current trends, and the Parkour style that Take Flight has pioneered worldwide for Traceurs since our foundation, our 2011 TF launch supports the 2009 and 2010 launches in a way that only Take Flight could do.
In a mix of simplicity and urban elegance, the new launch will debut 6 brand new Parkour tees as well as a slew of new dynamic colors options of past fan favorites like the Original Parkour Tee and the Original Parkour Tee II. With plans for new hoodies, new pants, and new long sleeves for the upcoming winter as well, this launch is just the beginning of another year of pushing the Parkour plateaus and sharing the discipline of Parkour with people worldwide.
Rivaled in excitement only by the 2009 and 2010 Take Flight launches, more than 30,000 people have already been invited to the official TF Facebook Launch event. If you haven’t joined yet you can RSVP here to spread Parkour and, in Take Flight fashion, be entered for your chance to win and sport the newest and purest Parkour gear on the planet.
Are you excited? We are. August 4th is the launch date. Let the countdown begin.

Take Flight Hoodie Closeout!
by Take Flight on Feb.16, 2011, under For Our Customers, Products, Promotions
Winter is still in full swing! (in fact it was snowing today at our Portland, OR headquarters). Sounds like a good reason to have a sale on hoodies, right? That’s what we thought too.
Given the winter season and the demand for winter PK wear, we’ve decided to have a huge sale on our entire inventory of Parkour Hoodies! And since, by the time this over, we won’t be able to reproduce any of the hoodies before spring and summer reach us, we are going to consider this a closeout. What this means is huge savings for Traceurs around the world! Until these are gone you can now grab a Parkour 91 Hoodie (regularly priced for $39.95) for ONLY $26.00!
This sale is a limited time and subject to stock, so if you’ve had your eye on a Parkour Hoodie now is the time. Hurry up and get your Parkour Hoodie in your size before they are all gone!

“If you build it, they will do Parkour.” -David Whitesell
“Well, because of your company, I was motivated to keep doing parkour. It all started with a video titled, on youtube, “Le Evolution parkour.” And everything was going good. Then, everything stopped working out. I just… gave up you could say… Deep inside, my life was already changed. Everywhere I went I saw the obstacles out of buildings and staircases, but I didn’t practice or workout because it was simply too hard. I didn’t want to do it if the results weren’t immediate. I watched another video simply titles “Free running” which re-motivated me, but not fully. The thing that started me again was this company. The clothes were simply amazing, not to kiss ass, but when I looked in the mirror I could be reminded of my goal and what I want to do. Also, I was the only one in my town to do Parkour. I am the original, and it was extremely hard. But, I stayed motivated with your shirts. I represented them in school, and even got my friends into Parkour. I am teaching them now, and they train with me. I told them all about Take Flight and I order your clothes all the time. I have a shipment heading here right now as I’m typing this comment. All I have to say is thank you for keeping me going. It has been 22 months since I first started. September will mark my two year training period.” -Mike Pieri
“Parkour isn’t about tricks or flips… its about seeing an object that ‘normal’ people would walk around and thinking “What if I…” and then you try what you thought and if you liked it try again. Escape from the normal and Take Flight!” -Bryce Boss
