We have recently introduced a new navigation bar on our site! This implementation has been a few months in the making and is predicated on our Parkour apparel line, our growing selection of Parkour gear, our athlete sponsorships, our partners, and the Take Flight social network.

Previously we had four menu choices for our menu. One for the home page, one for apparel, one for the About Us page, and one for our Contact page. With a wider variety of products, a growing number of sponsored athletes, and a constantly growing site, a more comprehensive navigation bar was a must.

Our new navigation bar is now in place and it has 6 main categories which we feel better represent the totality of our site. These categories include Home, David Belle, Apparel, Gear, Athletes, and Contact. Each of these categories (minus the Home option) has further drop-down options that will give you quick easy access to the subcategories on our site as well as links to outside sources such as the Take Flight Facebook Fan Page and David Belle’s official website.

We hope this new navigation bar provides one more resource to help you navigate the Take Flight site. For us it was months in the making, but still only a small reflection of our dedication to our customers and fans and our continued pursuit of constantly improving our site and products.

We are very pleased to announce the official release of our Take Flight Yoga Pants made specifically for women!

Our Take Flight Yoga Pants have been in the works for more than a few months. Now complete they are a slight deviation from the Parkour clothing we so strongly focus on, but we put forth the time and effort because we feel our athletic apparel focus warranted it. Here are a few glimpses into our thinking and reasoning:

#1. Up until now our line has been almost exclusively geared towards men, so we wanted to expand our line to provide more options for women. Designing and producing this item does just that.

#2. We are the world leader in Parkour clothing, but that doesn’t mean we only provide for Traceurs when they are training. Male and female Traceurs alike (and their friends) don’t only need clothes for when they are doing Parkour. The yoga pant provides another clothing option that is still authentically Take Flight.

#3. The Take Flight Yoga Pants are extremely comfortable and also versatile. They can be worn for a variety of occasions such as hanging with friends, going to the mall, and Parkour. Let’s face it, yoga pants are used more often during activities other than “yoga”.

We could not be more pleased with the final result of our efforts. Our Take Flight Yoga Pants are a 50% Cotton / 50% Polyester blend that is “extremely comfortable” (not our quote). They have a drawstring, they do NOT have pockets, and we stylized them by placing an attention grabbing pink “Take Flight” across the back side. Whether you feel like being comfy, getting attention, or doing Parkour or “yoga” these pants will serve the purpose and then some. They are on sale now at a special introductory price of only USD $26.

The original Take Flight Logo Tee was originally released in November 2008 as a 100% cotton tee. This tee has been one of our most popular shirts since that day. But even from its first release we started working to bring the shirt’s versatility to a new level. More than a year later we have finally reached the re-release of the shirt. Not only is the new Take Flight Logo Tee reinvented, it is now also the world’s first Parkour performance tee.

We are very pleased to introduce the world’s first Parkour performance tee to our line in the form of the Take Flight Logo Tee. After looking at graphic possibilities and color combos we decided to keep the shirt simple and known for what it is; a performance tee. We stuck with the traditional black, and manufactured a 85/15 polyester cotton performance fabric that simultaneously lets cool air in and pulls moisture away from the body. In addition to our blended performance material the shirt features the Take Flight logo as a front left chest print and the Take Flight Flight Man impressed on the back collar below the neck line. The shirt is for sale in our store for $19.95.

What has taken us more than a full year to accomplish, has been well worth the effort. We couldn’t be more excited for the reintroduction of our Take Flight Logo Tee to our Parkour clothing line. And the fact that the shirt is also the world’s first Parkour performance tee makes it all the more exciting for us and the Parkour community. One person who wore our blended performance tee called the garment “the most comfortable tee I have ever worn!” That is the exact type of response we work so hard for, and we plan to continually strive for this innovative and quality in all that we do.

Earlier today Take Flight sponsored team Kinetic appeared on Fox’s Good Day New York show to talk about their newly established Parkour classes. Founding members Jay and Shem were present for the feature and were shown instructing and performing. Both Jay and Shem were wearing the Original Parkour Pants manufactured and distributed exclusively by Take Flight, and the video of the feature is embedded below.

For a long while now DavidBelle.com has been a dormant site. But there is finally activity on it that indicates that the website will be up and running soon. Check out the site, see for yourself, and spread the word!

The Parkour Wings Tee has already generated a stir in the Parkour community because of its design. Until the Take Flight International Clothing Launch 3 months ago Parkour tees were typically one color prints of text on the front with slogans and poorly drawn silhouettes. We changed all that with the launch of our newest line, and the Parkour Wings Tee was one of the forerunners in this new horizon setting a new bar for what authentic Parkour clothing was and should be. The response to the Parkour Wings Tee specifically was so strong that we have decided to launch a new army version of the shirt.

The Parkour Wings Tee Army is the newest shirt addition to our Parkour clothing line. It took the instant classic and highly coveted Parkour Wings design and added a strong army feel to it by way of an army green tee and a dark green and white print on the back. With a PK on the font of the tee this shirt is Parkour to the core and will motivate you for a hard day or training.

The Parkour Wings Tee Army is the newest shirt in our line, but it sure won’t be the last. It most likely won’t even be our last Wings Tee version! For now that leaves the Parkour Wings Tee in Black, Camel, and Army all of which are priced at only USD $19.95. With so many choices of this precedent setting design to choose from, the hardest thing maybe deciding which one you want most.

The Take Flight International Parkour clothing Launch took place on June 25, 2007. On that day we introduced our newest line of Parkour clothing and our internationally integrated site. The apparel we launched on that day included the Original Parkour Tee in four different variations. We are very pleased today to announce the 5^th variation of the Original Parkour Tee; the Original Parkour Tee in Navy!

The Original Parkour Tee was originally offered in Cardinal, Charcoal, Silver, and Royal Blue. All four of these versions are still available and now our navy option is the fifth version. In deciding this color the dark blue wasn’t too hard of a decision. We knew we wanted a dark blue shirt in the line, and navy compliments the cardinal and royal blue versions so well that we went with it.
