Take Flight

Take Flight now has over 29,500 fans, which means we gained 1,000 new fans and we gave away three Parkour Tees! The 1,000 fan challenge is an on going Parkour clothing giveaway. Every time we get 1,000 new fans on the Take Flight facebook page, we giveaway three FREE Tees! The winners this time around were David Schilling, Lysander Luansing Jr., and Calum Stuart McDermot.

Next time you could win a free Parkour Tee from Take Flight, so be watching for the next 1,000 fans to add us, and be sure to share us with your Traceurs friends. We love giving great deals to our fans, and before we hit our next thousand fans we will crack the 30,000 barrier. What better reason to celebrate! The photo contest has come to a close! There was a huge volume of entries that must first be organized and rated by our staff, before being released for the voting. Due to the number of entries this process will take some time. Once we have determined our top 10, they will presented to Traceurs worldwide via our Take Flight facebook album. Be on the lookout the first week of May for announcements and the new album to be added.

From then on, all our fans will be able to vote for their favorite simply by commenting and/or liking the photo on facebook. Voting will only be open for one week, so be sure to get your vote in before the winners are decided. The Fan votes will be weighted to count for 50% of the final decision, and the Take Flight staff votes will account for the other 50%. So no matter which one is our favorite, the fans have the power to sway the vote! Once all the votes are in, the top three will be announced, their Take Flight gift cards awarded, and their pictures will be posted for the world to see.

In the past we had something called the 1,000 Interaction Challenge. Now we are unveiling our 1,000 Fan Challenge. This is another one of our unique Take Flight ways to give away lots of free Parkour clothing. Here is how it works:

• Right now we have 28,500 Facebook fans.
• When we get 1,000 more fans (29,500) we are going to give away 3 free shirts!
• To be entered, you have to be one of the first 20 people to post on our wall the details of which we will announce.
• We will select 3 of the 20 and send them their free clothing!

Hypothetical Example:

1. On March 7, 2011 we reach 29,500 fans. In honor of the giveaway challenge we post this on our page:
2. “We have 1,000 news fans! Be one of the first 20 people to post your favorite David Belle video on our page and you’ll be entered to win one of 3 tee shirts!”
3. 20 fans post a DB video. We select 3 at random and send them their prize!
