“We are in the town of Lisses, where a long time ago, a usual game for me and my friends involved jumps over fences and climbing trees.

Since then a lot of time has passed and our games have grown into a discipline in the roots of which lies its own philosophy. Our idea is that there are no limits, only obstacles, and any obstacle can be overcome. The limits are your trajectory of motion and your athletic training.

For the modern day city dweller, the normal way to move is using the horizontal routes, left, right, forwards, backwards. But you shouldn’t forget that urban jungles are a vertical world. Because of this, our routes go where it is possible to move, and it does not matter whether it’s vertical or horizontal.

Maybe in the future we will have flying cars. But vertical pedestrians already exist.

We called our discipline “Parkour.” The art of rational movement in a city.

Without training you will not grow wings.”
