The Take Flight Parkour Hoodie is a hoodie zip design with front pockets a hoodie string for tightening. On the back is a brilliantly displayed print of a Traceur in Flight surrounded by the words “Parkour” and “Take Flight” (look left). And on the front is the Flight Man – the one logo brand and signature that immediately says the two words that are printed on the back (look below). We’ve made this hoodie in two colors (black and gray), and we designed it to be versatile for all sorts of occasions including warming-up, training, and also just simply being comfortable enough to wear around so you can show your pride in the sport you love.

The 2011 Take Flight Parkour Clothing Launch is just days away!

Designed and produced specifically for Traceurs worldwide, the 2011 launch is as true as anything we’ve ever made and continue our quest for Parkour purity. By mixing urban concepts, current trends, and the Parkour style that Take Flight has pioneered worldwide for Traceurs since our foundation, our 2011 TF launch supports the 2009 and 2010 launches in a way that only Take Flight could do.

In a mix of simplicity and urban elegance, the new launch will debut 6 brand new Parkour tees as well as a slew of new dynamic colors options of past fan favorites like the Original Parkour Tee and the Original Parkour Tee II. With plans for new hoodies, new pants, and new long sleeves for the upcoming winter as well, this launch is just the beginning of another year of pushing the Parkour plateaus and sharing the discipline of Parkour with people worldwide.

All over the Take Flight Facebook page is talk about Brink; the latest video game to feature movement inspired by Parkour. Brink is one of the first video games to be advertised with a well known Traceur, in this case Daniel Ilabaca on the Brink Tour. The game Brink, is just the latest addition to what has become a stream of video games that include Parkour based character movements. In recent years, gamers have come to expect a level of freedom in character movement that has driven game designers to research, model, and even directly copy movements from Traceurs.

Some games advertise the freedom of movement as a cornerstone of the gameplay, to name a few:
Mirror’s Edge – Assassin’s Creed (series) – The Saboteur – Prince of Persia (series) – Brink – Devil’s Third (not yet released)

However many games that don’t say it out right, still researched Traceur’s movements to include in their game, like:
The Grand Theft Auto (series) – Infamous – True Crime (series) – Enslaved

We cannot wait to see what the future holds with the increase in technology. Maybe a Parkour based game on the wii or Xbox kinect. Currently there are very few games that are primarily focused on Parkour or freerunning and those games are produced independently. There are a couple of free cell phone games on the android market, but the only production game we know of is “Free Running” the game (seen below).

Everyone is still buzzing about the worldwide release of our newest tee with a back print. Owing to its simple layout and bold, untamed design, the Take Flight Tribal Tee was already a popular design on its first day out!

The front shows off an exclusive new Take Flight badge on the left chest. While the main print, on the back, features a wild setup that forms a unique design unlike anything else in our collection. This design comes in three color schemes, including white on black. People familiar with Parkour will instantly recognize the “TF” design, but the one-of-a-kind art on the back will have everyone impressed, Traceur or not. Also, hidden within this primal design is the Take Flight “Flight Man” Logo, can you find it?

Inspired by the impossibility to contain nature, this design has no clean borders or clear lettering, yet there is an obvious, strong image when viewed as a whole. We are just as excited as the fans for the newest release: the beast that is the Tribal Tee!
