Take Flight

We are back with another big contest for all our fans! This month there is no excuse not to enter because we are doing a photo contest! Below are the rules and regulations** (aka, the details of how you can win some awesome prizes just for loving Parkour):

Details

• Take a picture (or pictures) of you doing Parkour while wearing Take Flight clothing (or you can be posing. Completely up to you).
• Feel free to edit the picture in any way you like, add effects, add wording, or whatever you want to make the photo stand out.
• Give your picture a title, and name the picture file with your name and title (e.g. john-smith-taking-precision-seriously.jpg).
• Send all your entries to us at contest@takeflightapparel.com. (Multiple pictures are welcome, but there is a max of five entries per person.)
• All entries are due by 11:59pm on Sunday, February 12^th.
• We will narrow the entries down to the top 25 and create a contest specific photo album on the Take Flight Facebook page.
• We will select and announce the winners on this blog on Thursday February 23^rd.

How We Pick a Winner (this is going to be really, really hard we already know)

• We will look all the entries and take into account picture quality, creativity, showcasing of Parkour, showcasing of Take Flight clothing, and over all impression + all the little things. Details matter! (please remember that judging photographs is subjective. We will remain absolutely neutral, in order to provide the fairest contest possible, but it is possible that not everyone will agree with the judges decisions.)
• Bonus points and tie breaks will be given/awarded based on fan interaction on each photo in the finalist album. The most likes and the more positive comments tip the scales in that photo’s favor.*

*Negative comments will not count against a photo. We prefer to be supportive of everyone so for future references if you don’t feel like leaving a good comment then just don’t comment : )

As many know, Wikipedia is a free online encyclopedia that was created and is maintained by people around the world. Anyone, and we mean anyone, can add to it or edit it, and through this editing process the Wikipedia encyclopedia has been created. Not every company, organization, or individual gets a page on Wikipedia, but Take Flight has one and we want you to add to it. In order to get a $10 gift card here is what you have to do:

1. Go to the Take Flight wiki article page (located here) and add to it and/or edit the information. Remain objective and add/include a link or references to a website other than the Take Flight website.
2. Send us an email to contests@takeflightapparel.com and include your wikipedia username or the IP address that was used when you edited the page (this way we can confirm your addition).
3. We will send you a gift card.

The reincarnation of the Donatello Original Parkour Tee is here! If you thought it was gone you were right. But we’ve brought it back especially for Christmas in a special edition relaunch.

There are less than 50 Donatello Tees in stock and we don’t expect them to stay that way for long. Be a ninja or a Traceur. Up to you. Either way, with the Holiday rush now upon us, the time is now to pick up your version before they are gone for good.

The Christmas rush is upon us, and we know that everyone is looking to get their shopping list filled AND to make sure it arrives by Christmas. So we’re making your job easy by letting you know when the order deadline is for to guarantee you will receive your Take Flight orders by the 24^th of December.

Please note that we are not the company that actually delivers your order to your door. That is coordinated by our partners who are UPS and the US Postal Service (USPS). As such the above dates have been calculated by us taking into account guaranteed shipping times for domestic orders via USPS Priority Shipping (2-3 days) and average international shipping times of 10 business days. With that said it is possible that orders places by these dates do not arrive by Christmas, for weather reason, or other unforeseen circumstances that we do not control.

*In our calculations we’ve added in some stoppage time. In fact, we actually expect orders placed even a day or two after this date to arrive by Christmas. But we can’t be 100% of that which is why we are sticking to the dates above.

P.S. In case you are wondering what “guarantee” means, it means that we’ve taken great care in making these projections in order to be as accurate as possible, and we promise to uphold our end of the deal to get your packages out and to our shippers in time. And in the case that your order does not arrive by the 24^th, we will do whatever we need to make it right. After all, we have a 100% satisfaction guarantee that we stay true to all year long. And we uphold it, that much more during the Holiday season : )
